OPTY N. FERNANDEZ, P.E. PRINCIPAL
Mr. Opty Fernandez received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Opty Fernandez is a Registered Electrical Engineer in the state of California (E-12496). He has received awards for his design in commercial and industrial facilities. Before starting his consulting firm he worked for large engineering firms such as Fluor Corporation, Ralph M. Parsons, C.F Braun, and architectural and engineering firms such as A.C. Martin in downtown Los Angeles. He has been employed as a consulting engineer for over twenty-five years and is presently the Managing Principal of the firm.

He is responsible for business development, project management, administration and in-house planning. He also administers the company's quality assurance program. Mr. Opty Fernandez has experience in overhead and underground medium and low voltage power distribution, lighting, instrumentation and controls, SCADAs, DCUs, and open architecture integrated PLC systems.
His projects include commercial buildings such as mid-rise and high-rise buildings, office buildings and TI, schools, hospitality buildings, strip malls, restaurants, houses of worship, hospitals and medical centers, mixed use facilities, self-storage facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, refineries, pharmaceutical process plants, manufacturing facilities, government military facilities, and municipal facilities. Mr. Fernandez is well versed on NEC, CEC, OSHPD, UBC, Title 24 Standards and OSHA regulations.
FRANK FERNANDEZ, P.E. PROJECT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Mr. Frank Fernandez received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1971 and has extensive experience in overhead and underground medium and low voltage power distribution, control systems engineering and hands-on control systems applications. His experience includes industrial facilities, petroleum refineries, commercial buildings, educational institutions, government military facilities, municipal facilities, laboratories, and recreational sports park lighting. He is currently responsible for project management, cost estimating, engineering, and specifications.

MARIO ALVAREZ, P.E. PROJECT MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Mr. Alvarez received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at University of Southern California and his Master of Science in Management Science at West Coast University. Mr. Alvarez is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in the state of California (M-19820). He is an active member of the following societies: American Society of Mechanical Engineers; American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers; National Society of Professional Engineers; and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
Mr. Alvarez has been involved in the design, project management and construction management fields for over 39 years. Mr. Alvarez has designed and provided mechanical engineering and design services for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects. For the Los Angeles Unified School District, Mr. Alvarez was project manager for Alvarez Engineering, Inc. providing engineering services for over 40 projects with scopes that included plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Mr. Alvarez keeps abreast in the state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical energy efficient equipment. This is accomplished through close contacts with various equipment manufacturers, as well as through his part-time position as Professor at the Engineering Technology Department, Construction Management Department and Mechanical Engineering Department at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona. Mr. Alvarez is well versed on ASHRAE, UBC, UMC, UPC, Title 24 Standards and OSHA regulations.
